Terms and Conditions of Purchase

These Terms of Purchase are entered into by you and Heartstrings Bridal, a Minnesota Corporation. Your access to and general use of www.HeartstringsBridal.com and your purchase of any products through the Website are subject to these Terms.

By using the Website and making a purchase on the Website, you agree to comply with the Terms and applicable laws and regulations in connection with your use and purchases on the Website.

Heartstrings Bridal, Inc. shall at any time, without notice, revise these Terms or add new  terms and conditions. Use of www.heartsteringsbridal.com after we post changes to these Terms indicates your acceptance of the changes.

If you do not agree with the terms and conditions of this site, please do not use this site.

Acceptance Of Order

In order for an order to be complete it needs to be confirmed by both the manufacturer and Heartstrings Bridal and can be completed before your wear date in a reasonable amount of time. The reasonable time frame will be decided between the manufacturer and Heartstrings Bridal. Payment must be received and approved and the manufacturer must accept order and issue a confirmation.   If your order is not accepted by us, we will notify you and explore alternative options or allow cancellation with a full refund. Refunds are issued in US Dollars. We are not responsible for the current currency exchange rate.

It will take approximately 14-20 weeks for delivery of your bridal gown or bridesmaid dresses once the order is placed to us and then additonal delivery time for you to receive your goods once they are inspected by us. Accessories are shipped between 4– 8 weeks.. You should allow extra time for any alterations.

If your order cannot be shipped within the manufacturers normal delivery time, rush cut and rush shipping charges may apply or you may choose from any in stock items.  If you have any questions please contact us at Info@HeartstringsBridal.com.

Colors and Swatches

Online images of products may vary due to display and monitor settings. If a dress has multiple color options it will be listed under the product options. We are not responsible for any color variations, and recommend you view colors in person or order a swatch to ensure the right color is ordered.

Each manufacturer has its own color names and hues and they vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. For example, an Bill Levkoff  navy dress does not perfectly match a Venus navy dress. 
 
In order to ensure all the dye lots match for bridesmaid dresses, we required that you order the same style and color dress and we place the order together. 
 
We are not liable for mistaken color selections.

Sizing

A professional should take all of your measurments. On our website you will find size charts for each manufacturer, if your chart is not listed, please email info@heartstringsbridal.com and one will be emailed to you. The manufacturers size chart establishes a standard size. Your measurements determine the closest size. All dresses fit each person diferently and rarely fit PERFECTLY! Your dress may require alterations. Sizes have been scaled to fit as close as possible to your measurments. If you request a size that differs from the size recommended from the designer we are not responsible. If you gain, lose weight or become pregnant after the order has been placed we cannot be held responsible for the size change. When you take your dress to a seamstress we cannot be liable for their interpertations of what size "should have been ordered."

Delivery

When your order is received at Heartstrings Bridal, we will inspect it for style, color, size and defects, then ship the merchandise to the shipping address provided when you placed your order. If your email address and/or shipping address changes, you are responsible for contacting Heartstrings Bridal.

Pricing & Payments

Occasionally there is an error on our website and an item is priced incorrectly. We cannot honor typographical errors. The price of the item will not be confirmed until we have your order in house.  If the item was listed at an incorrect price we have the right to refuse or cancel the order.  Online we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.  All payments are accepted in US currency.

Discounts, Specials, and Promotional Codes

Heartstrings Bridal may offer customers specials, discounts, or promotional codes with the purchase of selected items. These offers will be clearly listed on the site and the customer must complete the entire transaction before the discounts will be applied.  In order to receive your promotional code, your order will need to be accepted by Heartstrings Bridal and the manufacturer and you will receive a confirmation of your order and your promotional codes within 10 business days following the acceptance of your transaction.  The promotional codes given to customers are for a set dollar amount, for a one-time use, and any amount not used at the time of purchase is non-refundable.  It must be used for the full amount, and cannot be redeemed for cash.  We restrict the the use of promotional codes to one promotional code per purchase.  We reserve the right to cancel or modify any promotion at anytime with or without notice.

Taxes

Heartstrings Bridal does not charge sales tax for any products shipped outside the state of Minnesota.  All orders shipped within Minnesota will be subject to the appropriate state and local taxes are are your responsibility to pay.

 
Shipping and Handling

We ship UPS and The United States Post Office.  Shipping will depend on the shipping method you choose (Standard, 2 day, next day, etc.), the weight of the item, and the destination and the most cost effective method.  For merchandise shipping outside the U.S., our shipping rates cover the cost to ship your merchandise. It does not cover any other fees with shipping outside the US such as VAT taxes, customs, or duty charges a country pay impose when you receive the package.  Legal title to the products you purchased passes to you after we have shipped your products from our store. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during shipping. Bridesmaid dresses are sent directly to the bride, otherwise each address wil incur a $15 additional shipping charge.

Since all of our items are special ordered from the manufacturer they may be delayed due to manufacturing, shipping or other unforseen circumstances. If such delay occurs and the item is not received by the event day our liability is limited to a full refund of the amount paid for the item.

Free shipping options apply to the Continental US only.  All others will be charged regular shipping rates.  Upgraded shipping does not speed up production only shipping time.

A signature is required on all purchases over $250 dollars.

If you select regular shipping your order should arrive in approximately 10-14 business days after the designer ships to us. (Saturdays and Sundays are not counted as business days), if you need your item sooner select an upgraded shipping option or select an in-stock item.

Shipping Delays

Special orders placed for bridal gowns, bridesmaid gowns, mother of the bride, and flower girl dresses are all made overseas. Heartstrings Bridal and www.heartstringsbridal.com are not liable nor responsible for manufacturer's delays including shipping delays, customs delays, factory and labor strikes, and other such events that may delay the shipping of your dress.  We will work closely with the manufacturer to ensure that you receive your merchandise before your wear date.

Return/Refund Policy

All sales are final and all payments are non-refundable. No merchandise may be returned by mail or in store due to the nature of the bridal industry as a one time use. Your order is placed immediately with the designer who is unable to cancel, change or modify the order once placed. Please verify that your order, including size, style and color, is correct prior to placing your order. If your order is not accepted by us, we will notify you and explore alternative options or allow cancellation with a full refund. Refunds are issued in US Dollars. We are not responsible for the current currency exchange rate. 

Defective Merchandise

All merchandise is inspected before it is shipped to the customer. Immediatley upon receiving your items you must inspect them. If your merchandise is defective, you must contact us within 3 business days of receiving the merchandise by the carrier per the delivery date given by the carrier for return of the item. If we determine that there truly is a defect we will arrange for shipment back to our location with an RA number and arrange for a new item to be shipped to you.  We will not accept any packages back without an RA number and will be refused or shipped back to you at your expense.

All merchandise must be returned in the condition it was sent (tags attached, not worn). If we determine that the merchandise is not defective the it will be shipped back to you at your expense. We will incur shipping charges on defective merchandise, but we will NOT incur shipping charges on merchandise that is found not defective.  All items that are deemed defective will be replaced with the exact same item, no changes of size or color is allowed.

This Site contains links to outside services and resources, the availability and content of which www.heartstringsbridal.com does not control, any concerns regarding any such service or resource, or any links should be directed to the particular outside service or resource.

Force Majeure

Heartstrings Bridal and www.heartstringsbridal.com shall not be liable for any delay to perform any of our obligations to the extent such delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to, fires, floods, explosions, accidents, acts of God, strikes, declared and undeclared wars and riots, lockouts or other acts of labor, shortage of materials or any government act, omission, regulation, license, order or rule.

Limited Liability

The majority of the products listed on this website are special ordered from the manufacturer.  All products that are special ordered may be subject to delays in manufacturing, shipping, or unavailability of styles or colors ordered.  Our legal obligation for non-delivery of these items by the wear/event date, in any case, is limited to a full refund of the retail price you paid for those specific items.

In no event will Heartstrings Bridal or www.heartstringsbridal.com be liable for any damages of any kind sustained from any cause relating to the products sold on this website.  In no event will Heartstrings Bridal or www.heartstringsbridal.com be liable to you for any claim related to the products sold on this site, in any amount exceeding the purchase price of the products sold on this website.

Governing Law and Arbitration

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the State of Minnesota law without regard to its conflicts of law provisions. 

Disclaimer

This site and all contents of this site are without warranties, either expressed or implied, including without limitation warranties of titile or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.  You ackknowledge by your use of this site, that you assume full responsibility for all costs associated with all necessary servicing or repairs of any equipment youuse in connection with your use of our site and that www.heartstringsbridal.com shall not be liable for any damages of any kind related to your use of this site.

By ordering any item on www.heartstringsbridal.com, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed above.
