The Knot conducted its second annual survey of over 20,000 recent brides to capture detailed
feedback on every business that couples hired for their wedding celebration.
Newlyweds contributed their raves and reviews on the area’s wedding professionals. The newlyweds were asked to rate their vendors on multiple criteria, from creativity to professionalism, and to comment on their experiences. The resulting ratings—and detailed feedback—were aggregated by the editors of The Knot to create this one-of-a-kind publication highlighting the best wedding resources in each region according to local brides. The survey was administered by Harris Interactive.

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN—June 23, 2004—For the second time in a just a few weeks, Jennifer Johnson, President Eden Prairie based company Heartstrings Bridal, has been asked to appear on a National television program showcasing a wedding. Jennifer will plan and execute a surprise wedding for NBC on Tuesday, June 29 for a deserving Minneapolis couple on the new show “Home Delivery.” The couple, who do not yet know they are being thrown their dream wedding, met and fell in love after the groom sustained burns to over 95% of his body in a house fire. In spite of this, they were able to fall in love and retain a positive outlook on life and love. The show will focus on their amazing story and their surprise nuptials.
Heartstrings Bridal has recently gained national exposure. Last weekend, the National television program, “Inside Edition” filmed a piece on planning a wedding on a tight budget. That segment is scheduled to air in mid-July.
Home Delivery is distributed by Universal Domestic Television and will premiere in fall 2004 on the WB network. The one-hour daily program will heat up the traditional lifestyle format, delivering compelling personal stories that culminate in dramatic physical and emotional transformations.
Johnson, a life-long Minnesota resident, started her own company in 2001 and has been coordinating memorable events ever since. The segment will be filmed when the couple weds on June 19, 2004.

Johnson was chosen for the spot after a nationwide search for a wedding planner who was able to plan a elegant wedding for a reasonable amount of money.
